On Tuesday, March 25, former Hazleton Area High School standout Brett Antolick’s current college team, the East Carolina Pirates, lost 6-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Duke Blue Devils.
The game took place at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. This was their first matchup against the Blue Devils this season.
The Pirates’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 6:30 p.m. at Reckling Park against Rice Owls.

State Representative Dane Watro (R-Luzerne/Schuylkill) and Senator Dave Argall (R-29) have announced that $500,000 in grants from the Pennsylvania Small Water and Sewer Program will be allocated to several municipalities in Schuylkill County.
